     Each pocket contains illustrated background pages, art and/or craft projects (note: this are interesting and meaningful projects), writing activities, and more.  This book is exceptional in that many books on Rome glorify the false religions of the times.  We were very happy to find that this book was an exception to the rule and is very wholesome. The entire book is reproducible and contains all of the forms, patterns, templates, etc., that you will need.  This book is an ideal resource for anyone doing a unit, notebook, or lapbook on Roman history.  Highly recommended!!

     The publishers recommend this book for grades 4-6, but it can be used very successfully with older and younger children.
