This kit provides everything needed for one additional student to complete all of the projects in the Westward Expansion Kit. It only contains materials that cannot be shared. This kit is not designed for co-op use - if you are interested in purchasing kits for a co-op, please contact us and we will send you information about our co-op kits.

A note about the gold panning activity: It is possible for two children to share the panning materials contained in the main kit if they take turns. Whether or not you want your children to share or have their own materials is up to you. The panning activity contains one panning pan, two bags of panning material, and one vial of gold. (The gold vial is a keepsake.) The standard additional student kit does not contain any additional panning materials. We do, however, offer individual panning kits for $8.00 each. If you wish to purchase a panning kit with an additional student kit, your cost will be only $5.00.
