She has adventures discovering treasures in her Grandmother's hope chest. In each book, her grandmother teaches her how to create one of the items in the hope chest. Detailed instructions and fantastic illustrations weave the project into the story. These are sweet, lovely, distinctly Christian books that any girl will love.  It just doesn't get any more charming than this.

In The Button Jar, Lucie enjoys exploring Grandmother's button jar.  Grandmother shares many special stories and memories associated with the buttons and even with the jar itself.   The lid of the jar is used as a tool for Grandmother to teach Lucie a very important lesson.
