We used it when we were studying marine life and it added a wonderful extra touch to our studies. Unlike our Under the Sea Floor Puzzle, this puzzle does not depict all of the layers of the ocean. Instead, it is more of a tropical reef scene with a deep ocean drop-off in the background. There are many familiar sea creatures that younger children will enjoy discussing. It is a bit easier than the Under the Sea Puzzle - this one has just 48 pieces. The pieces are very thick with a wipe-clean surface.
